Language can united people who can speak and understand same language and language can divide if they don't speak same language. if you are a group of students or coworkers the only things that allow you to achieve your goals, is to share your talent and thoughts and the only way you can transmit that is language for example, in this class we have to do group work to help one on other and learn. As we all know we speak many different language but the only way we can help each other is to have common language that each of us understand in this case its the English language. one very good example, we were in one group last week three Somali and two other Nationality, we had group work to discuss about the last week reading, we were all speaking in English when its came to Analise and answer some question i can say English language united us at that moment, on the other hand some time we( the three Somalians ) spoke the Somali language. in this case i can argue the Somalia language divided us and isolated the other two class mate who didn't have an idea what we were talking about.
in conclusion Language United people if they speak same language and divide if they don't speak same language

My immigration experience here in the USA
My Name is Abukar Abdullahi. I am from Somalia. I life here since 1996. My experience as a refugee or as an immigrant is same as most immigrant who came in the United States in the purpose of levitating their life.
Establishing and adjust in your life especially in a new country is not always easy. the challenge is enormous. The food tested is different weather was unwelcome, I used to enjoy the hot weather in Somalia, but I had to adapt the cold climate. the food and the language. the other things that I experience was the culture, here in the United States there are lot of difference cultures people are came from every corner of the World and that was quite shocking to me,where I from at least everybody has same skin color we speak same language.
Every thing was different in the new country that i setled, and that makes me to feel home sick
